Good Friday Service today at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary at SLBC. All are welcome as we worship and remember Christ’s sacrifice.

Today we celebrate , the day Jesus entered Jerusalem and was welcomed by crowds waving palm branches, declaring Him as the King of kings. What a gift that our King would come for us.

As week 8 games came to a close, we prepare to close our 24th season of Upward Sports at SLBC! Thank you to all our athletes, volunteers, and families!!

Remember, our Christian journey doesn’t take an offseason! From a recent blog post:

Attention Upward families that will have to use Hwy 99 or US 59 there will be potentially added traffic due to construction this weekend! 

Big construction weekend ahead, Sugar Land.

Southbound US-59: The inside two lanes from University Boulevard to Riverbrook Drive will be closed continuously beginning tonight (2/27) at 9 p.m. through Monday (3/2) at 5 a.m. Outside lanes and the feeder road will remain open.

Highway 90 & 99: The intersection will be closed continuously starting tonight (2/27) at 9 p.m. through Monday (3/2) at 5 a.m.
-Westbound 90 traffic can turn right and make a U-turn at 1464 to continue westbound.
-Eastbound 90 traffic can turn right and make a U-turn at Sandhill Drive to continue eastbound.
-99 traffic over 90 will remain open.

Please allow extra travel time this weekend. As our friends at TxDOT say, drive like a Texan: kind, courteous, and safe.
