“In the early 2000s I was searching for a church near our Sugar Land home. I visited different churches, and when I hear the choir and saw people my age, I knew this was it! As soon as they started to sing, I heard angelic sweet, soprano voices. My jaw dropped. It took me by surprise. Music was an important part of my life as a new Christian in the Philippines. SLBC has a choir that sings anthems and contemporary Christian songs, ones that I grew up with and groomed me as an alto. I am blessed to be a part of a ministry that inspires and moves people with strong Christian messages in music. I’m also thankful for Pastor Taylor, who delivers a sermon like he is speaking to you. And with a powerful music ministry team, I am thankful to be in a well-balanced home church!”

Are your kids ready for Vacation Bible School?! Join us June 8–11 from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM.

Tall trees, waterfalls, and an anteater? Get ready to journey deep into the heart of the jungle! At Rainforest Falls Vacation Bible School, kids step through the mist into a vibrant world of towering trees, cascading waterfalls, and chattering wildlife, where they’ll embark on a powerful adventure exploring the true nature of God.

More than just an exciting landscape, Rainforest Falls VBS will help kids grow rooted in a relationship with God, their Creator, a safe place, and a protecting guide through life’s every season. Through daily Bible points, Psalm-based memory verses, and interactive storytelling, kids will experience the wonder and wisdom of God in fresh, faith-building ways.

We offer live translation through Interprefy during worship services in:
• Cantonese
• Mandarin
• Urdu
• Spanish
• Portuguese

Simply scan the QR code in the worship guide to access translation on your phone or stop by the Welcome Center and our team will be happy to help you get connected.

VBS is happening June 8–11 from 9 AM–12 PM, and we can’t wait for an unforgettable week at Rainforest Falls! Best of all, it’s completely free for kids who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Get ready for four exciting days filled with music, games, crafts, laughter, and amazing Bible adventures as we discover what God is like through four incredible stories from the Bible.

We’re also looking for volunteers to help make this week extra special!

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we also take time to reflect with gratitude, pray for military families, and remember those who never made it home.
