‼️PASTORS FIGHTING ON CAMERA. The Fort Bend Pastors came together to meet so that we could fight against poverty and adverse beliefs that stop us from living the Gospel centered life. It is great to have this meeting every third Thursday of the month. .

The Coalition for the Homeless (CFTH) has funding through the federal government for homeless support and services. To find out more about applying for these funds, please register for the mandatory information session on Wednesday, June 17th at 9 A.M.

For questions and concerns, please attend the webinar. We are not able to answer questions regarding the funding, and you MUST register and attend the webinar if you are interested in learning more about applying.

I am so grateful for representative Ron Reynolds for introducing and inviting us out to meet the new CEO of the Texas American Red Cross area. Mrs. Carmen Watkins has a vision to connect before Gray skies and I am grateful for her leadership and looking forward to working with her. Today we connect 200+ churches to the United Way and the Houston Public Library. As Pastors and leaders we believe that ministry is stress free when we use the resources that have been allocated to the types of ministry we desired to do.

We are grateful for the Fort Bend Prays Group for orchestrating a wonderful week of prayer. Wednesday night, taking over the Sugarland Town Center Square, and Thursday celebrating with all of the different cities in Fort Bend County, making sure that we pray for our leadership, government, city officials, and the people of our cities. I am grateful for the leadership in our county and allow us to lead in search formats. We pray that you and your church will be a part of everything that we do next year. Wednesday, May 6th, is the National Police Week Day of Prayer. We will gather at 10 a.m. at the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, 1840 Richmond Pkwy. This will be a valuable opportunity for pastors to meet chiefs of police and officers from across Fort Bend County as we stand together in prayer for our community, and we will have a private reception for pastors and police chiefs.

Also, that evening at 7 p.m., Fort Bend Prays is hosting a city-wide National Day of Prayer event at Sugar Land Town Square. Please invite your congregations to join the community in prayer. We want to take Sugar Land back for the Kingdom of God.

The Fort Bend pastors association is extremely appreciative of the New Faith church that hosted this month. Dr. Andre Lewis did a great job in leading us in a discussion of prophetic, preaching versus political preaching and knowing your voice in this climate. We look forward to the next meeting next month. Let your pastor know they need to be apart of the Fort Bend Pastors Association.
