Ave Maria! We are very excited to hear the Dominican Sisters will be joining the faculty at Cathedral High School!! We love this school and the sisters. This will be a wonderful collaboration. We highly encourage any middle school students discerning which Catholic High School to attend to look into Cathedral. Walsingham is doing great things over there!
Dear Cathedral High School Community,
Christ is risen, alleluia!
I write today to share news of great joy in the life of Cathedral High School. For the coming school year, we are delighted to enter into partnership with the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist. The Dominican Sisters were vital in the establishment of Cathedral High School, and I am pleased to share that Mother Amata Veritas has accepted my invitation for the Sisters to join us on faculty. She writes,
βOn behalf of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist, it is a great honor to partner with the Cathedral High School and to serve on faculty this fall. The unique liturgical and academic life of the school provides the students with an opportunity to encounter the living Christ daily through the Mass and through truth, goodness, and beauty. We are so pleased to join in the work of making this mission a daily reality in the lives of so many young people.β
We are especially happy to welcome Sr. Elizabeth John, O.P., the local superior at the convent of Our Lady of Walsingham, who will be teaching courses in Catholic Culture and Theology.
Please join in our prayers of thanksgiving for the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist, and for the fruit this partnership will bear for many years to come!
With Easter joy,
Alexis K. Kutarna, Ph.D.
