About 11 years ago, during a very dark time in my life, God brought this, my favorite verse at the time, to task. He said, “Write it down. Write down what is true, noble, just, pure, lovely. Make a good report “. Even though, at the time, I saw very little that was good in my life, I chose to listen and do what God was asking, although I did not really believe anything would ever change because, at the time, I had completely given up hope. But I began writing it down. Not only did my perspective change from everything was bad to WOW! There’s actually something positive in my life, but the circumstances themselves changed.

Years later, I discovered 2 verses that confirmed why the entire situation changed. Job 22:28 says, "...Decree a thing, and it will be established unto you: and the light shall shine upon your ways," and Psalm 81:10 says "...Open your mouth with a mighty decree; I will fulfill it now, you'll see! the words that you speak, so shall it be!" (TPT)

I didn't realize at the time that God told me to write these things down, that He was putting me into these "decree" verses. But that's exactly what he was doing. The end result was getting me out of the pity party victim mentality and into a victorious, overcomer mindset.

Numerous times, God told his prophets to write things down. The message is the same for us because the power of life and death is in the spoken words from our mouths, but also, there is power in the written word. The written word of God is powerful. Take this verse to task. I encourage everyone to write down what is true and noble. Make the list. Put a date on it. Choose one attribute daily and list it out. Watch your world change. This is a form of worship. AND it’s one that lasts for posterity. Footprints for the next generation.

Can He do this again? Of course, He can. He's at work daily, weaving miracles and turning our trials into triumphs. Are you paying attention? 🌟

I can personally attest to the incredible transformations He's orchestrated in my life. From the ashes of shattered dreams and heart-wrenching disappointments, He's led me to a place I could never have imagined. 🌱 Remarkably, from those very ashes, a beautiful garden has taken root, and blessings are pouring in from all directions. 🌸 Each setback is just a stepping stone on the path to victory. He's not only replacing what was taken from me but showering me with even greater blessings. 🏆 AND He has given me the VICTORY! Victory is not just a possibility; it's a promise if we allow Him to work! 💪🙌

Dressing for the Battle, Armed to Win with KNOWLEDGE.

In order to wear the knowledge of God on your heart, you must first know God’s word. The Psalmist said, “Thy word have I hid in my heart that I may not sin against thee.” Psalm 119:11. If we do not know what God’s word says, we cannot hide it in our hearts, nor can we use it for our benefit. We are fighting blind. I promise you, your enemy knows God’s word, front ways, and back ways, in and out. When Jesus was tempted in the desert, he used the very Word of God, our scriptures, to disarm the devil. All he did was quote the word of God to the enemy, and the enemy shut up. He actually spoke it. Reading God’s word daily, meditating, and contemplating it helps us learn it. When we have learned the word of God, we can wear it on our hearts, which is where the breastplate of righteousness goes. God’s word becomes a light to our path and will help us make wise decisions.

As an individual who is blessed with the gift of ADD, I found that memorizing scripture created a spirit of attentiveness within me. Dress every day in the word of God. Plant His word within your heart and water it every day, allowing the Son of God to shine on that word to bring it forth in your life every day. Hosea 4:6 says,” My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” The only way to combat the enemy is with the knowledge of God’s word.

Decree:
“An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.” Proverbs 18:15

“Thy word have I hid in my heart that I may not sin against thee.”

This is not speaking of our physical eyes but of our spiritual eyes. Don’t miss out on what is going on behind the scenes. Things are never as they appear to be. We must stay connected to the Holy Spirit in order to “see” what the Spirit sees. This is where our health and our protection comes from.
