Jesus didn’t say you won’t face trials—He said, "Peace I leave with you." That means you don’t have to beg God for a peace He already placed in your hands.

The biblical definition of peace isn’t the absence of difficulties; it’s calm and tranquility of soul right in the middle of them. It’s losing an opportunity, getting a scary medical report, or facing a setback, etc., and still being able to stand, praise, and worship because your peace transcends your circumstance.

Stop asking Him to give you what He already left with you. Put your “shoes of peace” on and walk confidently in them.

Momentum Monday

This past Sunday we continued our SUITED series with the Shoes of the Gospel of Peace.

Peace does not mean the absence of a battle. It means being able to stand firm and keep moving even when life gets hard. The enemy wants to use fear, stress, and conflict to stop your progress, but Jesus gives us a peace the world cannot give.

If the enemy can rob you of your peace, he can rob you of your progress. We are called to walk into a broken world carrying the Gospel of peace wherever we go.

Stop trying to be "good enough" in your own strength...

You were never meant to carry the weight of perfection on your own.

In 2 Corinthians 5:21, scripture tells us that Jesus took on our unrighteousness so that we could step into His righteousness. When you suit up in the Breastplate of Righteousness, you stop relying on yourself, and start standing firm in His protection.

The enemy wants you exhausted from trying to earn what has already been freely given to you. Step out of self-reliance, give God control, and put on the armor that protects your core.

We celebrated NINE people who took their next step in their relationship with Jesus through baptism, and FIVE people raised their hands to give their lives to Christ!

We also continued our SUITED series talking about the Breastplate of Righteousness and what it means to be suited up in God’s righteousness instead of living by our own definition of what makes us right.

We’re so thankful for everything God did this Sunday, and we’re expectant for what He’s going to do next week as we continue our SUITED series.

What a Sunday at Momentum! We continued SUITED talking about the Belt of Truth and how truth has to be what holds everything else together. The worship was strong, the room was full of faith, and you could feel God moving in people’s lives.
