"My name is Caio Ligabo. I’m a Sophmore in college and I been a member of the church for six months now.

I have a family friend who is a member of the church and he invited me and my family to a Christmas event at church and that was it. Two years later, the missionaries knocked at my door and shared a scripture with me.

In February of 2023, my sister told me to go to a Tuesday activity that would be fun and since that day I went to it every day and all the church activities.

But I was still really indecisive if I should get baptized or not.
I had a lot of people telling me that it was silly, that I shouldn’t do it and that it wouldn’t be the right choice for me. I kinda listened so I took a break from the church during summer where I ended up going to Europe.

I had a chance to visit the Rome temple with my family. I had such a great time and the sisters shared such a strong testimony with me that got me thinking for awhile. I met with missionaries again and had so many questions and they answered most of them and the questions they couldn’t answer they told me to pray about. With that they told me to pray about baptism and ask our Heavenly Father if I should get baptized or not.

I went home late that day and I almost fell asleep. I said the fastest prayer possible, "God should I get baptized? Amen." I fell asleep, [but] with that simple and short prayer, God gave me an answer. He showed me the path to get baptized. The next day I decided stop drinking coffee and I watched the morning session of general conference and the only thing I could hear in all the talks was baptism.

It's crazy because I went back this week and I read the Sunday session, and they barely talked about baptism. I know that the Spirit and God showed me what I needed to hear.

Sometimes when we pray about something and don’t get the answer we were expecting or don’t get an answer at all, it’s because Heavenly Father has others things for you to think about.

"Even though I was taught about the gospel of Heavenly Father from a young age, I never took the words to heart. However, as I grew older and drowned in depression and anxiety, I knew I needed a change in my life. For a long time, I felt like I went back in time as a scared little girl with no hope. I was in a downward spiral after my mother’s cancer diagnosis.

So one night, I began praying for my mother’s health, that she would overcome her sickness and become more like our old family again. And she did. My mother’s strength was the inspiration for me to become closer to Christ and God. Her strength came from her faith and her love of sharing the gospel with other patients.

If my mother can find strength, even in the most vulnerable and terrifying situations, so can I. I still have many issues to overcome, but I found hope through the Lord. I want to thank my mother, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Sister Strong, Sister Jones, and Sister Oldroyd. I am closer to Christ and God, and I have the Holy Spirit with me to help me become more Christlike and find joy until I meet Heavenly Father.

The sisters’ lessons, the church’s teachings, and the church members’ kindness lead me to grow a spiritual connection to Heavenly Father and Christ. I am eternally grateful. They all have a special place in my heart. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. "

"My testimony comes down to prayer and how much it means to me. Before I met the missionaries and I was just going through life, I would pray and ask for Gods help in my life. I kept praying, and finally, 2 missionaries came by and got my information.

One day, they came to my door, and my mom told me to invite them in! My mom doesn't usually doesnt have people come in, but she did for me that day. They talked with us about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and invited me to come to church. As I've come to church, I have found a sense of community and family. I no longer feel alone, I dont have to go through this journey on my own.

Going to church gives me hope and shows me a better path. I think it all comes down to prayer. As I prayed, God gave me what I needed even though it wasn't particularly what I wanted."

"Hello. My name is Gabby and here is my testimony. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. Leaning about the Gosple has opened my eyes and brought me so much happiness. God has brought me out of so many dark places. I would worry so much about things I had no control over. But starting my journey with God has grown my faith and and has helped me to put everything in Gods hands.

It took me a while to decide that I wanted to be baptized, but I knew in my heart that this was the next step that I needed to take and I felt a pull to be baptized and it was the BEST thing that I have ever done in my life.

I prayed to God for guidance for so many years and he led me to meet an amazing guy. Which led me to Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Where God showed me this is where I needed to be.
This is my testimony and I can’t wait to grow my testimony even more. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."

"I just wanted to share part of my testimony I want to say that before I started coming to the church, I was going through a hard time in life and everything was just bad. My health, my family and work, I was always be stressed and I started to be in and out of the hospital.
One day I started to pray and I prayed to find my way back to God. Then I met some amazing people – friends, missionaries, my best friend, and the church family!! I just knew it was Gods timing! I started to go to church with my best friend/significant other and I felt at peace and happier. I started to read the gospel and went to a mission preparation class. I was finally doing better and felt more relaxed.

Saturday, February 3, 2024 was my first meeting with the missionaries and ever since it went well and they helped me get ready for my big day and prepare me for this journey. They will always be there for me!

I’ve done a large amount of self-improvement. I’m super proud of myself and I’ve seen the growth and I’m happy to have the support I have now.

I was baptized on Sunday, March 24,2024 – Día muy especial y emotivo para mí.

Follow Jesus Christ path and it’s amazing, He showed me what love, respect, happiness truly is!

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

And I say these in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen."

"I decided I wanted to be baptized shortly after coming to the church. I'm impressed with the people and how they understand religion. I believed it and decided that I wanted to be there.

Church keeps me thinking about the things of life. And I soon realized that I'm being lifted up and helped through our Savior. I couldn't have had the career I have without my Savior's help.

I was 9 years old when I went to a boys home. I cried myself to sleep often. I developed a fear of rejection and I learned the importance of always making a good first impression. In my junior year of hight school, I met my English teacher and her husband. They invited me to come live with them for 1 year, it turned to 5 years. They helped me pay for my college and because of that my life has been greatly blessed.

At 86, I finally realized that it was God!!! I finally acknowledged it was Him that helped me.

When I was baptized and received the Holy Ghost it made me feel better. It made me realize that I was living the life the Lord wants me to live.
I say this in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."

"I would like to share my testimony with you guys, because I don't want you to miss these blessings.

"So, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has missionaries, and I was so lucky to be taught by them. It was super amazing to be around these wonderful people, and it blessed my life. I remember the first day they asked me if I had been baptized, and I told them I had been baptized into the catholic church. I explained to them how it happened, and who did it.

"They explained to me that I hadn't been baptized the correct way, and I was like 'are you guys crazy?' They taught me about how Jesus Christ was baptized, and how he was baptized by the priesthood authority. 'So you mean I should go look for John the Baptist then??' I asked, but the sisters started giving me facts and truth—which even my mom already spoken about! So, after taking my time to think about it, I remembered that they had said 'if you think what we telling you is a lie, then just go pray and ask our Heavenly Father about it.' They left the decision to be baptized completely up to me, so I went ahead and prayed about it, and realized that our Father in Heaven can communicate with us in many ways! (How nice and meaningful is that?)

"After couple days, I felt like my heart was no longer the same. Something was telling me to go ahead and get baptized. I actually had a dream of the sisters teaching me, and then being baptized the correct way. Therefore, when I did get baptized, that's when my life was transformed forever.

"Now, everything in my life has changed spiritually, but God has also blessed me with some extra bonuses—one of which is 'having peace in my heart,' that is forever and ever. Thank you to God, and everyone who has helped me though this time. God is our Heavenly Father, and he loves us so much. Let's go and start blessing others too. I love this church and I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."

"My name is Constance Lambert. About September of 2022 these young gentlemen started knocking on my door. At the time, my husband wasn't interested in hearing anything about the Lord. I would always tell them to come back when my husband wasn't home, but it was sort of a hit and a miss for a while.

In December my husband passed away. Then in January, out of the blue, one day I was sitting in my office being very distraught, not knowing how I was going to proceed with my life, or even if I even had a life to proceed with. The phone rang, and it was the elders.

They said that they were thinking about me, just sitting in the Walmart parking lot. I told them that it would be okay for them to come and see me. Then, they just kept coming back and coming back. Even on the days where I wasn't feeling it, they would still be there, standing at my door. They were relentless which—was a really good thing. After about 2 months of seeing them, they told me that there were sister missionaries who would want to come see me. They had never told me about the sisters!! So then the sisters started to come and see me, and it's just been a miracle in my life ever since then.

Lauren Daigle has a song called 'Rescue,' and in it she says that God will send down an army of angels to help you, even in the deepest darkest nights. That is exactly what happened to me. These kids saved my life in many ways. They saved my relationship with the Lord and they brought me closer to Him than I probably have ever been. They have taught me more than I have ever known, and I can honestly say I would not be here today if it wasn't for the missionaries who came to my door, didn't stop coming, and didn't give up on me. I thank God for them everyday."

"When I got baptized, I was in a unique situation. I had to depend on more than one guy to baptize me, and I was worried if it was going to go right or wrong. When I went under the water, I knew this was right and what I needed to do. I had been baptized before, without God's power, and I didn't quite understand the meaning of baptism. So when I got baptized this time, I understood baptism and knew why I was doing this. Since my baptism, I've been in a better situation. I felt peace, and it has helped me be closer to the word of God."

"Learning about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was always something I wanted to do. Before going, I attended a non-denominational church, and felt as though I was missing something and I wasn’t growing. I heard about the church through a family I knew. They always read scriptures, and had great ideas and points about growing in faith. I downloaded the Gospel Library app a couple months before I even reached out to the church, but upon reading the scriptures by myself, I was super confused! Then, I met the most amazing missionares, and the impact that had an me was really big. However, learning and growing in my faith wasn't easy. There were lots of trials and people who didn’t agree with my choice, but as I knew it was my choice to make, I stood steadfast. After getting baptized and continuing to go to church, a lot of differences stood out to me, and even to my friends! I was kinder and more open minded, and I knew that it was the best thing for me!"
