Sugar Grove Mission Covenant Church Pastor Sara Charlton came to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ at the age of 19 while attending North Park University.

She attended North Park Seminary and has interned or pastored three Covenant churches. Pastor Sara Charlton grew up in a non-Christian home and came to know the love and saving grace of Jesus Christ at the age of 19, while attending North Park University as a biology/pre-med major. Through the mentorship and discipleship of a Covenant pastor, she came to know the call placed on her life to "not he

al people's bodies but heal people's souls." She switched majors in her senior year of her undergraduate program, and applied to attend North Park Theological Seminary, after graduating with a Bachelor's degree in History. Pastor Sara has served churches in three states before moving to Pennsylvania. She loves exploring the community she lives in, and has recommendations for coffee shops in Yakima, WA; McPherson, KS; and Millersburg, OH, if anyone decides to visit any of those locations. When Pastor Sara is not pastoring or serving on the Executive Board of the Great Lakes Conference, her hobbies include cooking and baking, visiting local zoos, hiking, reading cozy mysteries, and spoiling her niece, Emma. Sunday School is from 9:45 to 10:45 for all ages(preschoolers to adults) with nursery care provided for under three(September to June). Worship Service is 11:00 to 12:00 each Sunday with Nursery Care for Newborns to 5 and Jr. Church each week for Kindergarten through 4th Grade.
