Pancakes, prayer, and pure joy! 🥞✨ Our Fellowship Hall was packed today as we broke "bread" together, shared beautiful fellowship, and worshiped as one church family. This Sunday we gather around a promise Jesus called the Advocate. The one who shows up. The one who stays.
We will hear from our friends at Christina's House, a ministry that knows what it means to be an Advocate in the most concrete terms possible -- a place to sleep, a skill learned, a door held open. Their offering this week will be part of our worship, not just an add-on.
Come ready to be surprised by where the Spirit has already been at work.
And bring your homework question with you: Find one moment where you could make room for someone who was not in your plan.

The Going the Extra Mile offering supports Christina’s House, a ministry developed to meet the needs of women and their children who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in the Springfield area. Christina's House is designed to help women and their children transition from homelessness to permanent, stable living environments.
