🎨 Help us stock the classrooms with creativity!

QACL is excited to partner with the QAC Arts Council again this year for our Art Supply Drive! We’re collecting art supplies to help support art teachers and students throughout QACPS.

Have extra supplies at home? Donate them and help inspire the next generation of artists! Donations are being accepted September 1 - 30 at the Centreville and Kent Island Branches.

All donated supplies will be distributed to QACPS art teachers for use in their classrooms.

This Sunday at 11:00 AM, we invite you to come worship with us for a special Communion Sunday as we gather around the Lord’s Table and hear the message:

🛠️ “Celebrating God’s Labor” 🛠️

God is always at work—in our lives, in our families, in our church, and in our community. Even when we cannot see what He is doing, we can trust that His hands are still working for our good and His glory.

Come receive Communion, lift your heart in worship, and be reminded of the incredible work God has done—and continues to do—for His people.

❤️ There is a place at the table for you.
🙏 Come as you are.
⛪ Worship with us.
🍞 Share in Communion.
✨ Celebrate the work of God!

Bishop Debra Wallace-Padgett, whose episcopal area includes eastern Tennessee, mourns the passing of Dolly Parton. “I have been most impressed by her generous spirit, genuine love for others, authentic Christian faith and ability to connect with people from all walks of life,” Wallace-Padgett writes. https://www.holston.org/post/remembering-dolly-a-reflection-from-bishop-debra-wallace-padgett-19970257

⛪ TWO CHURCHES. ONE FAMILY. ONE PURPOSE. ❤️

This Sunday, August 30th at 11:00 AM, we invite you to join us at Calvary-Asbury United Methodist Church for a very special Combined Worship Service!

There is something powerful about God’s people coming together. Different congregations, different stories, different journeys—but ONE faith, ONE Savior, and ONE God who unites us all.

This Sunday is more than simply gathering in the same building. It is an opportunity to worship side by side, pray together, encourage one another, and remember that we are stronger when we stand together in Christ.

🙌 Come expecting powerful worship.
🙏 Come ready to pray.
❤️ Come ready for fellowship.
✝️ Come ready to experience what God can do when His people gather in His name.

Whether you attend every Sunday, haven’t been to church in a while, or are looking for a church family—you have a place with us.

Join us in prayer for those impacted by devastating flash flooding along the border of Nepal and Tibet today. We pray especially for the families and loved ones of those who have died or remain missing, and for those who have lost their homes and livelihoods.

As first responders assist survivors and search for the missing, UMCOR stands ready to support the response efforts of United Mission Nepal and other partners in the region.

Summer offers a unique opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and remember what grounds us in our faith. ❤️

Rooted in Christ: Love Boldly is a five-week worship series that invites congregations to journey together through the promises of our baptismal vows.

Centered in Ephesians, each week explores how God's love shapes the way we repent, seek justice, nurture one another, and embody Christ's love in the world. 🙏

Designed with flexibility in mind, the series can begin whenever it best fits your congregation's summer schedule. With worship resources, sermon support, music suggestions, prayers, graphics, and more, churches have everything they need to create a meaningful and unified worship experience.

How has your baptismal journey shaped the way you live out your faith?
