🍴❤️ What can happen when a community comes together to share God’s love? A lot!
Thanks to the generosity and teamwork of our St. John family, 60 families setting up new households will receive kitchen kits through Household Goods in Acton.
✨ Our Outreach Team contributed $1,000.
✨ Thrivent provided a $250 grant.
✨ St. John members donated funds and shopped for utensils.
✨ Together, we collected an incredible 1,400 items for families in need!
At our final BRIDGE (Building Relationships In-between Different Generations and Experiences) event of the program year on May 31, more than 40 people gathered for fellowship, fun games, and a meaningful service project. Together, we packed kitchen kits filled with pancake turners, potholders, measuring cups and spoons, serving utensils, and more.
Then on June 1, Jane Misslin delivered all of our kits and donated items to Household Goods, where they were received with great excitement and gratitude!
A heartfelt thank you to:
👏 Jane and the Misslins for loading and delivering our donations.
👏 Valerie Ripley for sorting items and completing the final shopping.
👏 Everyone who donated funds, supplies, and time to make this project possible.
This is what it looks like when a church community works together to share God’s love. Thank you for making a difference! ❤️
