🍴❤️ What can happen when a community comes together to share God’s love? A lot!

Thanks to the generosity and teamwork of our St. John family, 60 families setting up new households will receive kitchen kits through Household Goods in Acton.

✨ Our Outreach Team contributed $1,000.
✨ Thrivent provided a $250 grant.
✨ St. John members donated funds and shopped for utensils.
✨ Together, we collected an incredible 1,400 items for families in need!

At our final BRIDGE (Building Relationships In-between Different Generations and Experiences) event of the program year on May 31, more than 40 people gathered for fellowship, fun games, and a meaningful service project. Together, we packed kitchen kits filled with pancake turners, potholders, measuring cups and spoons, serving utensils, and more.

Then on June 1, Jane Misslin delivered all of our kits and donated items to Household Goods, where they were received with great excitement and gratitude!

A heartfelt thank you to:
👏 Jane and the Misslins for loading and delivering our donations.
👏 Valerie Ripley for sorting items and completing the final shopping.
👏 Everyone who donated funds, supplies, and time to make this project possible.

This is what it looks like when a church community works together to share God’s love. Thank you for making a difference! ❤️

🎉🌟 Youth Sunday was AMAZING! 🌟🎉

This past Sunday, our incredible youth led worship from start to finish—serving as ushers and greeters, acolyte, crucifer, readers, and communion assistants. We are so proud of the way they stepped up, shared their gifts, and helped lead our church family in worship! Our kids even delivered the sermon, sharing The Sweater: A Story of Community, reminding us that Jesus trusts each of us to share our love and God’s love with one another.

A huge THANK YOU to:
👏 Our parents for practicing with the kids and making those early Sunday morning arrivals possible.
🎹 Bart Dahlstrom for providing beautiful music as our accompanist.
🎨 Chad Dorsey for creating the stunning worship backgrounds.
🌟 And most of all, our youth, for their enthusiasm, leadership, faith, and love.

You inspired us, encouraged us, and showed us what it means to serve with joyful hearts. We are grateful for each and every one of you! ❤️

On this Memorial Day, we pause with grateful hearts to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the words of our Lord: “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

As we gather with family and friends this weekend, may we also lift prayers for those who mourn, for our veterans, and for peace in our world. We give thanks for the freedoms we enjoy and ask God to guide us in lives of faith, service, and compassion.

Come, Holy Spirit! 🔥🕊️

Join us this Pentecost Sunday as we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the Church. On this special day, we remember how God continues to gather, renew, and send His people into the world with faith, hope, and love.

We invite you to worship with us at 9:30 AM as we hear God’s Word, lift our voices in praise, and rejoice in the Spirit’s presence among us.

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” — Acts 2:21

All are welcome!
