Star Words ✨

This Sunday at 8am and 10am, we’ll begin a new Epiphany practice: receiving a Star Word.

A Star Word is a simple word—received, not chosen—that we carry with us through the year. Like the star that guided the Magi, this word can become a gentle guide, helping us notice where God is at work in our lives.

Some of these words are rooted in our Baptismal Covenant, and others reflect the life we are called to as people of faith making our journey with God and one another.

Each star invites us to live more deeply into the promises we have already made: to pray, to love, to seek Christ in all people, to strive for justice and peace, to walk in God’s grace, and to respect the dignity of every human being.

You don’t need to know what the word will mean yet for you. Part of the gift of a Star Word is discovering how God unfolds it over time in your life.

Join us this Sunday as we worship, pray, and reflect on our common life and that of the world, and receive a word to carry into the year ahead.

Come curious. Come open. Come as you are.

“May this word be a star for you—guiding you more deeply into God’s grace.”

Everybody, everybody, everybody is welcome.
