Camp Icthus

Camp Icthus Camp Icthus is a nondenominational Christian camp committed to sharing Christ through an outdoor recreation environment.

Campers will enjoy a week-long (Monday night to Saturday noon) residential camp. Each day is filled with activities designed for fun, adventure, and developing a closer walk with God. Camp Icthus is located in Suches, GA at Mountain Fellowship Camp. Campers can choose from several activities including swimming, fishing, archery, nature study, hiking, riflery, crafts, adventure course, canoeing, an

d games. Each activity includes Bible verses related to the activity or a character quality used in that activity. Campers meet in large groups, small discussion groups, and personal "quiet times" to learn more about their relationship with God.

Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Matthew 1:20-23

In our hustle and bustle of the Christmas season we often fail to stop and allow the fullness of what we are celebrating pe*****te our heart. The name Emmanuel or Immanuel means, "God with us". God created us so that He can have a personal relationship with Him. Because of our sin, the very purpose (light) of our life is snuffed out. The ransom is too great for us to pay. But God! A child is given and his name is Immanuel. The greatest gift ever, rapped in the blood of Jesus, is ours. May you enjoy God's gift to you and may the light of Christ shine brightly, because God is with us.
