St. Teresa of Calcutta (Mother Teresa) once said, to love one another, doesn’t mean to hug and kiss someone who is a stranger, but you can offer them a smile. 😀❤️ She also said you could also be a missionary in your own home town without having to travel to a far off land. 🇺🇸💙
This summer our great Country will be celebrating our 250th anniversary. This is a great opportunity to do what Mother Teresa implied. Why not start a block party in your neighborhood and get to know your neighbors, who after Covid might be more comfortable in their homes than outside socializing. You could be the catalyst to get things started with the rest of June to prepare. Maybe you already do this and have a great relationship with all your neighbors, young and old. ❤️🤍💙
After two decades or more, I have finally taken the initiative to do just that myself. I’m really looking forward to meeting many new families, chatting and laughing with a hotdog or two in hand, for a simple and fun celebration in my neighborhood on the 4th of July.🇺🇸 Maybe you can too!🌭🍔🥧
