Rally Day is returning to Redeemer Lutheran Church on Sunday, September 13, and this year we're adding a delicious new tradition!

Join us after worship at 12:00 PM as we celebrate the end of summer, kick off our fall ministries, and enjoy an afternoon of food, fellowship, and friendly competition at our First Annual Chili Cook-Off.

Whether you're planning to make your favorite chili, bring a side or dessert to share, or simply come hungry, there's a place for everyone around the table.

What an incredible week at Vacation Bible School!

This year, nearly **50 children** and **30 amazing volunteers** came together for an unforgettable week as we journeyed through **True North**, discovering that no matter where life takes us, **Jesus is our faithful guide.**

From energetic worship and Bible adventures to crafts, games, snacks, and new friendships, every day was filled with laughter, learning, and joy. It was a blessing to watch our children grow in their faith while having so much fun together.

A heartfelt thank you to every volunteer, leader, youth helper, parent, and supporter who made this week possible. Your time, energy, and love created an environment where children could experience the love of Christ in such a meaningful way.

We are so grateful for this church family and can't wait to see what God has in store for next year. Until then, keep following your True North—Jesus! 💙🧭

Our Luther League gathered once again at the Kitchin Boathouse for one of Redeemer's most beloved traditions. Despite the cool June weather, nothing could keep the kids out of the water—or from making the iconic leap off the boathouse roof!

With swimming, pizza, games, and wonderful fellowship, the evening was filled with laughter and memories that will last a lifetime. For generations, Carol and Lloyd have graciously opened their home to Redeemer's youth, creating a place where countless kids have grown in friendship, faith, and community.

As Carol always says, "We grow great kids at Redeemer," and our current Luther League is a beautiful reflection of that. Many of these young people have grown up at Redeemer, making this tradition even more special.

A heartfelt thank you to Carol and Lloyd for your incredible generosity and for creating a place where so many lasting memories have been made over the years. Your hospitality has blessed generations of Redeemer youth, and we are so grateful for you!

Bags flew. Competition was fierce. Generations came together.

And together, we raised $2,900 for our Luther League youth as they head to Mountaintop, Tennessee next week for their mission trip! 🎉

From teenagers and grandparents to longtime members and new friends, the RLC Co****le Tournament was filled with laughter, encouragement, and plenty of friendly competition.

💚 25 Years of Faithful Ministry 💚

Last Sunday, we had the privilege of celebrating an incredible milestone: 25 years of Pastor Kildea's ministry at Redeemer.

For a quarter of a century, Pastor Kildea has faithfully shared God's Word, walked alongside families through life's joys and challenges, baptized children, confirmed youth, officiated weddings, comforted those who grieve, and helped shape the faith journey of countless people in our congregation and community.

It was a wonderful morning filled with gratitude, stories, laughter, fellowship, and of course, cake as we honored his dedication and service.

Thank you, Pastor Kildea, for your steadfast leadership, compassionate heart, and unwavering commitment to serving Christ and His people. Your impact reaches far beyond what can be measured in years.

Please join us in thanking God for Pastor Kildea's 25 years of ministry at Redeemer and praying for many more years of faithful service ahead.

The New Jersey Synod Youth Ministry Mission Team is headed to the Somerset Patriots game this Saturday, and the response has been incredible.

With 158 tickets already claimed and only 5 tickets remaining, this is shaping up to be an amazing night of baseball, fellowship, and fun with youth, families, and congregations from across New Jersey.

💙 What a year it has been.

From game nights and service projects to conversations, laughter, worship, and growing together in faith, this group has made memories that will last far beyond this school year.

Before we head into summer, we're gathering one more time to celebrate all that God has done through Luther League this year.

Join us for a night at the Kitchin Boathouse filled with swimming, pizza, friendship, and plenty of fun as we celebrate an incredible group of young people and the year we've shared together.
