One of the priorities we have as Oblates is to study Scripture via Lectio Divina. Well-written books that communicate what this is, how to study via Lectio and examples and helps are priceless in learning Scripture.

This book is pure gold. With amazing commentary, helps and examples, it has deepens my understanding and grasp of this way to study the Holy Scriptures.

Finding good resources to help with the life application of St. Benedict’s Rule is so helpful! This book was written by G.A. Simon, a Priest Oblate of St. Wandrille’s Abbey in France and translated into English.

He gives very good commentary and application of applying the Rule to our lives today.
