Averages for 2022 VBS. 126 children daily and 38 volunteers daily. 147 individual children attended at least one day. WOW!!!! Love Stuttgart Kids!!!!

2022 Sparks Studio VBS was a blast!!!!! Had so much fun with all the kids. I had the pleasure of being the MC for the Opening Celebration time and teaching Missions for 1st-4th Graders. The mission challenge this year for our church was to collect school supplies that we can give to our teachers! So many times a student forgets something or needs a new pencile and teachers are the ones who supply what is needed. This year we wanted to help stock pile some supplies for teachers to have in their classrooms to give to a student in need. This was a competition between the boys and girls to see who could bring as an offering for missions the most school supplies. Up till Friday the Girls had it in the basket but on Friday the Boys shinned and pulled out a win. The real winner are the teachers!!!! We love our teachers and are praying for a great year.

Day 5, and final day of VBS 2022, was wonderful. We are all so thankful for the opportunity that we've had to teach your kiddos about what it means that God is the master Artist!

Today we read Acts 1 together and learned about how God sent the Holy Spirit to be our helper. God call us for good works, and the Holy Spirit helps us to walk in those things. This is our hope for your kiddos: that they would take what they learned this week and use it to bring glory to God, walking in step with Him as the Holy Spirit empowers them to do so!

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

Day 4 was filled with so many laughs, and great memories! 122 kids and 39 workers! Total of 161 attended VBS today!!

Today we read Luke 24 and learned about Jesus' death and resurrection. We talked about, while it might be sad to think about the death of Jesus, we can have joy knowing that he rose again, and in that we can find abundant, redeeming, life.

For our last day we want everyone to rock those VBS t-shirts, and come ready to celebrate the amazing week that we've had!

VBS t-shirts were ordered as registrations came. The last order was sent in on Monday. We are sorry to say that these are not going to make it on time to wear to the celebration. We will however call you when they arrive and would love if you came by and picked them up at the church.

Tomorrow at 11:30 we will have a celebration time in the Sanctuary. Parents you are invited to attend. The front doors of the church and the office doors will open at 11:15. Please make your way to the Worship Center and sit in the middle section. We will be done by noon. We want to honor your time. After we dismiss please pick up your child's art bag. PreK/K is located in the back hall way on the West side and Elementary is located in the Office hallway on the East side. If you are not able to attend you can pick up them up in the Worship Center at noon. Thanks!

Day 3 of VBS 2022 was a success! We had 125 kids and 38 volunteers today. Total of 163 attendees. We were super excited to see each and every one of their faces. Check out the daily video of the fun everyone is having.

Today we dove into Matthew 21, and learned how the people welcomed Jesus into Jerusalem, praising him as a king who came to save. Jesus is our humble king who reaches down to meet us in our darkest times, saving us.

Tomorrow is artist day, and we want to see your kiddo dressed as their favorite artist! We can't wait to see them for day 4!

Very proud of all who have memorized and said their memory vs. Ephesians 2:10 "For we are God's Workmanship. Created in Jesus Christ for good works. Prepared for us ahead of time to do."

Parents, on Thursday you will receive an invite to attend our end of VBS Celebration on Friday at 11:30am in the Sactuary. We will finish by noon. Doors will open at 11:15am. See you Friday.

Kids will also take home t-shirt on Thursday. Please wear them to VBS on Friday!!!!

Day 2 of VBS 2022 was a blast, and our crazy hairstyles made it that much more fun!

130 kids attended today and 36 workers helped make today awesome. Total of 166.

We also had a montage video from Day1, Monday, that we showed the kids during Morning Celebration. You will be able to see that video on the VBS page and the Club1615 page later today.

Today we read 1 Samuel 16 together, and learned about the way God prepared David to become king. So He does for each of us! God is always at work, preparing us for the good things He has in store, as our verse of the week, Ephesians 2:10, reminds us!

Remember, tomorrow is backwards day which means we want your kiddo to come with their shirts on backwards!

Mission Project: School Supplies for Teachers
Competition between Boys and Girls, who can bring the most items. Examples of items: pencils, notebooks, markers, crayons, binder clips, ink pens, etc....

Hi, parents! What a wonderful start to VBS 2022! We rocked out in our crazy socks, and had a great time doing it!

130 Kids attended today! 33 Adults volunteers helped. A total of 163 vbs participants.

Today we dug into Psalm 104, and learned about how King David praised God for creating all things including you and me! What a beautiful truth it is that we get to know such a wonderful creator.

Just a reminder, tomorrow is crazy hair day, and we want to see the craziest hairstyle you can come up with! We are so pumped to see everyone on Day 2!

Parents please help us with Drop Off by staying in line and making sure your kids are checked in before letting them out of the vehicle. If you are helping work, drop off your kids in the line, then park and come inside. During pick up please do not park and walk up as it stops the movement of the other cars. We will do our best to have kids ready to be picked up at noon.

Mission project for this year is helping our school teachers with school supplies. We are wanting to help teachers have supplies in their classrooms that they can use or hand out to kids who need supplies during the year. Lots of teachers spend their own money stocking on items that kids may need during the year such as a pencil, paper, eraser, crayon, pen, etc... We are giving these items to the Chamber who will bag them up for teachers and then at the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, teachers will be able to grab a bag of supplies. Here is a list of items to choose from to donate.

Notebook paper, pencils, pens, copy paper, paper clips, highlighters, notecards, spiral notebooks, etc...

We will see if the boys or the girls bing the most items.
