What are you waiting for right now?

There's a profound difference between anxious waiting and expectant waiting.

One is marked by clenched fists and racing thoughts. The other by open hands and steady trust.

Those who know God deeply don't wait passively or anxiously, they wait with anticipation. They've learned that God's timing is never random, never cruel, never late. His delays are purposeful. His silences are meaningful. His "not yet" is always working toward a "yes" that's better than we imagined.

The question isn't whether God will show up. He always does. The question is: Will we trust Him while we wait?
