Hey, a huge thanks to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for cooking up a delicious meal for our Free Friday Friendship Lunch this past Friday!

This week, we dished out 82 meals, gave 10 showers, and handed out 3 bags of food to folks who needed it.

So many wonderful things happening on Fridays at the church. We couldn't do this wonderful ministry without our partner churches.

Pride can bring joy, connection and celebration, but it can also bring fear, uncertainty and difficult feelings. We know that the world around us, from public debates to changes in guidance, can affect how safe and supported people feel.

This Pride, we’re here to remind you that you’re not alone, and if you're struggling we're here for you πŸ’™

Thanks so much to Fight Through Mental Health for this beautiful illustration.

Our own St. John's Episcopal Church Cooks made the Free Friday Friendship Lunch.
Thanks, Anne Good and Joan Fisher, for the yummy meal!
We served 92 meals!
But our dishwashers said there had to have been over 100, lol!

Our church needs about 200 more empty, clean, gallon (or half gallon) milk or water jugs (with lids) for a VBS project in the next week or so. If you have any to share, they can be left at the south entrance of the First Presbyterian Church, 1320 S. Lakeview. If you put a few inches of water in them and just set them on the sidewalk, they won't blow away, and we can get to them. Thank you in advance for helping us build a giant igloo!
