A friend asked me recently why there is no stampede of GLBT couples rushing to be married officially. I think that the answer is that so many couples have been together for extended periods of time that there is no great need to rush, but rather to plan with joy an event that they can truly enjoy, a celebration not only of their love but also the determination and courage with which they have withstood the battle.

full Catholic Mass with communion, and all points in between.
