So great spending time with you church family! Pastor Steve shared Week 6 of our sermon series, Divine Protection: Putting on the Armor of God, and the message was called Fight Back With God's Word.

Looking at Ephesians 6:17, he shared the Sword of the Spirit, which is the only offensive weapon listed in the armor. Pastor Steve reminded us that Jesus fought temptation with Scripture, and we need to do the same thing. Biblical truth exposes lies and defeats temptation, whereas a neglected Bible just leaves us as vulnerable believers.

The big takeaway for us this week is to learn Scripture, speak Scripture, and use God's Word daily in our spiritual battles.

What an amazing day today at Grace Place! Pastor Steve preached an incredible message. "Shield Yourself With Faith" 🛡️

He reminded us that Faith protects us when the enemy attacks our minds with fear, doubt, and discouragement.

The Roman shields covered the whole body, likewise flaming arrows are fear and accusation. Faith is trusting God even when circumstances are painful or confusing.

This week Choose to trust God’s character even when you do not understand your circumstances.
