Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Treasure Coast

Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Treasure Coast enquiring minds, open hearts. Services are each Sunday at 11am, followed by a social gathering with food and refreshments.

We have many social and community programs, and our doors are open to any who wish to participate.. We gather to seek wisdom, truth, justice and to be with other open-minded thinking persons. It is our affirmation as a religious community to dwell together in peace, to seek the truth in love and to help one another. Members of our congregation come from many spiritual paths, Christian, Jewish, Pag

an, Buddhism, Humanism, Agnostic, Atheism (yes, an Atheist would feel welcome here; our understanding being an Atheist would not have arrived at that conclusion without much thoughtful consideration.) If this is a place you would like to explore we would be delighted to welcome you. As Unitarian Universalists we covenant to affirm and promote:

The inherent worth and dignity of every person

Justice, equity and compassion in human relations;

Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth;

A free and responsible search for truth and meaning;

The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large;

The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all;

And respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part. Wisdom from all the world's religions inspire us in our ethical and spiritual quest and we are inspired to deepen our understanding and expand our vision.

In 2025, the UUA reiterated its opposition to such military action. We do so again today, and every day these armed attacks continue.

Unitarian Universalist congregations have a critical role in resisting violence and protecting our communities, and UUs have a long history of showing up to resist authoritarianism, xenophobia, racism, transphobia, and other attacks on communities.

Meaningful, effective response requires us to engage in faithful, values-based risk assessment and discernment that recognizes our unique landscape and community.

But figuring out where or how to start can feel overwhelming!

This worksheet is an invitation for your congregational leadership and members to have a resourced, grounded, and accountable analysis of your congregation’s capacity to nimbly and resourcefully respond to any crisis.

Winter Solstice offers an opportunity to pause at a pinnacle, honoring Earth's longest night. For many moons leading up to this darkest moment, trees have been baring themselves of their leaves, offering a blanket to the Earth below. How can we as humans enter into the energy of this sacred time, using it as medicine, and aligning with the season's offerings? Join us this Winter Solstice evening for a ritual moment that honors the energy and teachings of this season that encourages us to rest, lie fallow, and wait in the Earth's pregnant pause.

Stories like “Star Wars” remind us that imagining a different world has always been an act of resistance. When real-world freedoms are limited, marginalized people have long turned to storytelling to create worlds where they have more freedom and more dignity than the one they were given.

In this reflection for UU World, Rev. Sam Teitel lifts up the brilliance of “Star Wars” - not just the empire it portrays, but the courage of ordinary people who choose to proactively resist it. Hope becomes real when people decide they have a role to play in challenging oppression.

✨ Something to consider: What kinds of courage do our current “empires” require from us today?
