Chelsea shares more about herself in the following:
Abortion: It is a loaded topic. It is raw. It is painful.
I have witnessed men and women who have had wounds for years because of their abortions. I have seen firsthand what turmoil can be caused due to not talking about the abortion. I have also experienced the shame and guilt in my own story. Our stories may look different, but we are in this together.
I have also seen firsthand, an Almighty Father who wants to take all of our hurts, shame, guilt and SILENCE and eradicate it! I have seen deliverance and stood by those who fight for freedom. Freedom from shame. Freedom from guilt. Freedom from unworthiness. The freedom to step into the purpose He has for them.
Susan Dreger Perez asked me to share my story this month on her blog, in honor of this month's anniversary of Roe vs. Wade. I am grateful for the platform and will continue praying and supporting her passion of educating and inspiring others. Please check out her blog ♥️
I also want to take this time to talk about a ministry called Deeper Still. It is a group of men and women who call themselves "Freedom Fighters." They spend hours upon hours of their time, praying and preparing to spend (2) weekends a year, standing beside those who have had an abortion, and fight for their freedom. I have never witnessed such passion and selflessness and power. They are the hands and feet of Jesus. They walk through the steps of processing, surrendering and honoring their sweet babies. The silence turns into a victory cry and that is where the battle is won---over and over again----each person set free is another warrior in the good fight.
