This is How - Jesus came in the flesh

I can remember a time in my life when I prayed specifically to just be comfortable. I prayed for financial security, I prayed for peace in my heart & soul, I prayed for sleep. I just wanted to stop all the noise. Easily 20+ years in the making, God has answered all those prayers. Today, I’m financially secure, my needs are well-met. Today, I’m much slower to anger, and when I do get frustrated, I don’t stay there too terribly long. And if anyone out there really knows me, y’all know, I get my sleep! And now that all my prayers have been answered, all the noise quieted, I can finally “ride off into the sunset,” right? WRONG! Now’s the time for me to shout it from the rooftops! Now’s the time to proclaim what God has done for me, and exactly how He has answered those prayers, and how He can answer yours too. Now’s the time to be on 🔥 for the Lord. In the book of Revelation, Jesus warns the church in Laodicea to not be lukewarm, to not be materially rich and spiritually poor. Please join us at Saint John's at 9:30 am and Bushkill Community Church at 11 am on Sunday, July 5th, as I deliver my inaugural message from Revelation 3:14-22, “Warning: Don’t Be Lukewarm.”
