Members of Our Savior's church choir teamed with some of our youth singers on Sunday to sing a beautiful rendition of "I Love to Tell the Story." The choir is under the direction of Alex Gradwohl. This week, our former vacancy Pastor Rev. Carl Busse, returns to the pulpit for Pastor Schmidt, who is assisting his daughter relocate following graduation from Marquette. Strongsville City Schools Superintendent Dr. Cameron Ryba served as the keynote speaker at the Chamber of Commerce’s monthly luncheon, held at the Ehrnfelt Recreation and Senior Center. To stay informed about local developments, Our Savior’s Outreach Coordinator Terry Mazzone attended alongside approximately 80 community members. During the annual State of Schools address, Dr. Ryba presented the district’s facilities plan and discussed the $147.65 million bond issue scheduled for the May 5 ballot. If approved, this bond will enable construction of three new Kindergarten-through-fifth-grade elementary schools and the repurposing of a fourth building for a centralized pre-school. The facilities plan was developed with input from school officials, community stakeholders, and state representatives. Notably, four of the five existing elementary schools date back to the 1960s.
