Vacation Bible School preschoolers had a wonderful week at Emanuel. We played a lot of games and had fun!
Day 1: jar of oil affirmations. We discussed the importance of filling other people’s cups/jars and keeping ours filled, too. If a day is a bad day, take a slip out and repeat the positive note!
Day 2: love through the birth of Jesus. Sharing out good news and remembering to spread positivity. We created an angel using their hands as wings!
Day 3: the importance of helping others, even when it might feel tough. The kids had to make 2 drawings for someone ELSE, and we discussed the story Zacchaeus and created a tree!
Day 4: finding the light in the storm. Some days are rough, but we can do our best to find faith and positivity. We read the story of Jesus’ death, and created a wind chime to help give a bit of beauty in the light of a storm.
