What a blessed day at Strasburg UMC! The months of preparing for today definitely showed the efforts of so many to make sure our 150th Anniversary was a huge success. It was so wonderful to have Bishop Sue Haupert-Johnson to celebrate with us and provide today's sermon.
Thank you to Strasburg Mayor Brandy Hawkins Boies for attending and reading the resolution honoring the history of our church. We are so thankful to have so many join us today for this for this celebration. Most importantly thank you to all those who worked on so many different aspects to make this day truly special!❤️
Looking forward to seeing what memories we will create over the next 150 years at SUMC!✝️

Good Morning! All are welcome to celebrate with us on this special day. Historic displays start at 9AM and service starts at 11AM.

This Sunday is our 150th Anniversary! Join us for a history exhibit from 9am -11am and 1pm - 3pm.
We will have one worship service at 11am that will be led by Bishop Sue Haupert-Johnson of the Virginia Conference of The United Methodist Church.
Unique Pottery was created for this event and can still be purchased. A cookbook featuring recipes and pictures of our congregation will be available.
All are welcome to join us in this celebration!

Good Morning SUMC!

I can't believe our 150th celebration is already here. In preparation for Sunday, Diane needs help on Saturday to prepare our Fellowship Hall for over a hundred guest, including the Bishop who will be celebrating with us.

Many hands make light work. Please try and make time to join us this Saturday at 10AM to move tables and chairs, decorate tables and arrange other items so our Fellowship Hall is ready for our guests.
