Mission to Italy Benefit Auction has been our focus the last couple of months. And now that the dust has settled, we want to thank the committee and all those who donated to make the event such a humbling success. Thank you, First Presbyterian Church of Strasburg and all the families of students, preschoolers, and community members who came out to support.

The First Presbyterian Church will hold a Mission Italy Auction on Feb. 21, putting up 106 items to bid on ranging from a signed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar basketball to gift certificates for local businesses. Proceeds from the auction will help twenty local youths and 11 adults travel to Portici, Italy this summer.

"We have quite a few high-money items, and so we're excited for that," pastor Bob Bronkema said. "What we really are looking for the most is people who will come in and bid on them."
