New Series for our Women’s Bible Study: The Book of Jeremiah & Daniel.
Won't you join us? We will be studying Jeremiah and Daniel. At this time in Israel's history, many generations have passed since Moses led them. This new generation has forsaken God. They no longer seek HIM. They have forgotten the crossing of the Red Sea, the miracles in the desert, and the cruelty of slavery. God is mercifully slow to anger, but HE has reached HIS limit and will no longer allow such wickedness to continue. They will be invaded. They will be captured. Even through this, God gives them a hope. He remains true to HIS promises.
Jeremiah lives out this atrocity with his kinsmen, continuing to bring the Word of the Lord to them during their captivity. Not everyone in Judah and Israel has forsaken God.
You may recall another youth carried off to Babylon at this time to live out his days. Daniel. It seemed only fitting to conclude our season of Bible study with the book of Daniel.
