Night 2 of our Tent Revival is in the books! Thanks to Robert Morton for providing music and to Pastor Hosea Bilyeu for another powerful message from God’s Word. Using the story of the rich man and Lazarus from Luke 16, he reminded us that hell is 1) real, 2) suitable (appropriate for rebellion against God), 3) eternal, and 4) avoidable. As Christians, our attitude should be “Hell? No!” as we share the gospel with our friends, family members, coworkers, and neighbors.

The celebration wraps up tomorrow night with our annual Fish Fry and Missions Auction at 5:00 p.m. Hope to see you there!

Twenty-five years ago today, our nation experienced a tragedy that forever changed the lives of countless families and left an indelible mark on our country.

Today, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001. We honor the courage and sacrifice of the first responders who ran toward danger to help others, and we remember the families who have carried the weight of that day for the past 25 years.

As a church, we pray for those who still grieve, for those who continue to bear the scars of that day, for our first responders and military personnel, and for our nation.

We also acknowledge the many acts of courage, compassion, and unity that emerged in the days that followed. Neighbors helped neighbors, strangers stood together, and countless people gave their time, strength, and lives in service to others. May we continue to honor that legacy by showing compassion, serving faithfully, and standing together in times of need.

In the midst of sorrow and uncertainty, we turn to God, who is near to the brokenhearted, sustains us in our grief, and gives us strength when we are weak:

“God is our refuge and strength, a helper who is always found in times of trouble.”
—Psalm 46:1 (CSB)

Twenty-five years later, we remember. We pray. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

A great first night of our Tent Revival! The Hosea Bilyeu Family led us in sweet worship to the Lord before Pastor Hosea brought a challenging message from Haggai 1:1-12. He contended that we are where we are in our spiritual life because of our “spiritual default settings.” When the Lord asks us to do something, what is our automatic answer? (1) “No,” (2) “Not Yet Yes,” or (3) “Yes, Lord, Yes!”

We are looking forward to night #2 with music from the Morton family and Pastor Hosea’s message “Hell? No!” Join us tomorrow night at 6:30 p.m. and bring someone with you!
