Hikers meet promptly at 9:45 a.m. at the Mansfield Lodge at Stowe Mountain Resort. Look for event signage.

TONIGHT! We are so excited to announce that Reverend Dan Haugh of will be joining best-selling authors Anne Lamott and Neal Allen on stage this Saturday, March 28th, at 7pm at Spruce Peak Arts

Dan will be leading the discussion on stage with questions that the audience submits. Expect conversation around their newly released book Good Writing, their careers, and a sideways glimpse into how Anne and Neal collaborate on writing while living together.

Together, they bring humor, warmth, and wisdom to audiences seeking relief from political fear, help with roadblocks to creativity, and methods for taming life’s everyday gremlins. Anne Lamott writes and speaks about subjects that begin with capital letters: Alcoholism, Motherhood, Jesus. But armed with self-effacing humor –she is laugh-out-loud funny – and ruthless honesty, Lamott converts her subjects into enchantment.

Emily’s reflection from Feb 8: It was a very chilly and thankfully sunny, no-wind Super Bowl Sunday. Many people stop by the chapel throughout the day, out of curiosity or seeking a moment of refuge from the sub-zero windchill. As the sun tracked through the sky, new dimensions of light and shadow emerged within the chapel. The stone walls and glass block windows provided an interesting canvas for photography. I look forward to returning as chaplain again!
