We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of the month. All are welcome to partake in the sacrament, including children of all ages. Everyone is invited to Coffee Hour in the Fellowship Hall immediately following worship. We support a number of local, national, and international outreach ministries such as Habitat for Humanity, the Walk for Hunger, and Church World Service. We also perform pastoral outreach through our Prayer Shawl Ministry and Caring Committee. Fellowship activities include weekday suppers, our annual Holiday Fair, men’s and women’s groups, and of course, Coffee Fellowship after Sunday worship! We celebrate the diversity of God’s creation and affirm the dignity and worth of every person as created in the image of God [Genesis 1:27]. Living in openness to the Voice of the Still Speaking God, and following the Greatest Commandment of Jesus Christ to love God and neighbor, we extend an extravagant welcome to all persons regardless of age, race, nationality, ethnicity, faith background, marital status, family structure, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, socio-economic status, physical or mental ability, or any other difference that might otherwise separate us from one another within the family of God. We invite all into the full life and ministry of our church, including worship, sacraments, rites, covenants, fellowship, leadership, employment, commitments, blessings, and joys.
