Way to represent Jesus!

Elim Lutheran is one of our LCMC Iowa District churches.

The youth group from Elim Lutheran Church in Randall, Iowa just finished up their mission week serving throughout our ministry centers. During the week students sorted food donations at our Hope Café, served lunch the Door of Faith, our men's long-term life recovery center, helped with cleaning projects at our Hope Center for women and children and completed their week sorting donations at our Hope Ministries Thrift Stores.

Prayers for our state and those affected by the devastating storms and tornadoes this week. Specifically for the nine (and maybe more) families of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Fontanelle - seven whom lost their homes, and two others with significant damage. Pastor Steven Broers is "boots on the ground" in the community.

Coming to Badger on Saturday? There is a detour because of road work on P-59, Paragon Ave. The last mile into Badger approaching from the south is detoured 1 mile west on gravel over to P-56(also called 413 or the airport road) which is hard surface, then north to C-56, then East a mile into Badger. To bypass that detour, when you are coming north out of Fort Dodge just go west on 170th to airport road( aka 413 or P-56) then north to C-56 and then east into Badger.

We are excited to welcome Jordan Biere, a nationally known speaker from Alpha USA, who will be offering encouragement to communities longing to reach the youth and younger generation. Leadercare is an initiative of LCMC. The theme is "Spiritual Formation," and will be led by Mike Bradley and Christian Huntley,
along with Iowa-based LCMC pastors and leaders. Leadercare will explore spiritual practices from a leader’s perspective.
