It was such a wonderful gift to celebrate our graduating friends last Sunday and send them off with prayer, laughter, and ice cream cake.

Now that graduation weekend is coming to an end and there are many newly minted UConn graduates, we wanted to repeat one last time the blessing we say over everyone at the end of every service and the blessing we prayed specifically over graduates last Sunday:

The Lord bless you and keep you
The Lord make His face shine upon you
And be gracious to you
The Lord turn His face towards you
And give you His peace

Many blessings to this year’s graduates and everyone else as they head off for the summer!

As the semester comes to an end, we want to celebrate the hard work, perseverance, and faith of our friends who are graduating.

Through the valleys and mountaintops of their undergraduate studies or graduate programs, they have trusted in the goodness and faithfulness of God to carry them through.

It is a privilege and an honor to celebrate all they have accomplished as we wait with eager expectation to see what God has for them next.

Join us this Sunday to celebrate them as they finish their time at UConn and bless them as they head out on their next adventure!
