First Baptist Church of Mansfield We are an American Baptist Church located 1 mi. south of the Univ. of CT on route 195. All people are welcome to join us on this journey of faith.

Welcome to the page of the First Baptist Church of Mansfield. We’re thrilled that you have discovered us online. People have been praying and singing, and worshiping and serving together here at this church for over 200 years! All people are welcome to join us on this journey of faith and we are not perfect people. It is our desire to discover more about God each time we are together, and

do our best to follow Jesus. Our history and tradition have helped to make us who we are, but even more, we are a people moving forward. Sunday morning worship begins at 10:00 a.m. and communion is celebrated in our worship services on the first Sunday of each month.

Dear Church Family,

It was wonderful to worship with you all yesterday. I was also blessed to participate in the Mansfield Memorial Day ceremony this morning.

Our joint Bible study with S.C.C.C. was a great success, with about 10 people attending and enjoying pizza together.

Please note my office hours for the week:

- Tuesday and Thursday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Wednesday: Volunteering at the Mansfield Senior Center

I would also like to share some reflections from yesterday’s sermon regarding the church in Sardis:

- Sardis was a wealthy city, yet the church there had become tired and was declining spiritually.
- Jesus called them to experience renewal by returning to the basic spiritual practices they once followed.
- As stated in Revelation 3:5: "The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels."

Jesus truly cares about every detail of our lives; He is always there to provide help, strength, and guidance.

Dear Church family,

It was wonderful to see everyone at yesterday's service. Our guest speaker, Rev. Michael Harvey, spoke drawing from his years of experience in ministry, was truly inspiring. I also appreciated the opportunity to share ideas on how we can further impact our community together.

Please note my office hours for this week:

- Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Thursday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Additionally, I will be volunteering at the Mansfield Senior Center this Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
