Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible women who nurture, guide, encourage, sacrifice, and love so deeply.

Today we celebrate mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, foster mothers, spiritual mothers, and all women who have helped shape lives through compassion and care. Your love reflects the heart of God in countless quiet and powerful ways.

We also hold close in prayer those for whom this day carries grief, longing, complicated emotions, or cherished memories. May you feel surrounded by grace, comfort, and love today.

Thank you for the countless meals prepared, prayers whispered, tears wiped away, lessons taught, rides given, hugs shared, and faith lived out every single day.

You are a blessing beyond words.

On behalf of Hancock County Special Olympics, thank you for taking care of us on Sunday. The lunches were a big hit. All of them were eaten and enjoyed. Thank you for from the bottom of our hearts for making a special day.

Today, I give thanks for the hands and hearts of Stony Ridge United Methodist Church, who packed 60 lunches for Hancock County Special Olympics.

These simple acts of kindness will become moments of joy and nourishment for coaches and athletes during the Northwest Ohio regional state qualifiers with Special Olympics Ohio.

It may seem like a small thing—but this is how the love of Christ shows up in the world. One lunch. One smile. One act of care at a time.

Stony Ridge, you are a loving church—and your witness is shining brightly.

Today at Stony Ridge Church, our loving church family had the honor of presenting Will Miller, president of Flag City Honor Flight, with a gift of $2,000.

This offering is more than just a donation—it is a reflection of our deep gratitude for the brave men and women who have served our country, and a commitment to ensuring their stories, sacrifices, and legacy are never forgotten. We are humbled to play a small part in helping our veterans experience the honor they so richly deserve.

We give thanks for the work of Flag City Honor Flight and for leaders like Will who carry this mission forward with such dedication and heart.

Gracious and loving God,
We thank You for the gift of service, sacrifice, and freedom. Today we lift up every veteran who has given so much for others. Bless them with peace, honor, and the deep knowledge that they are not forgotten.

We ask Your blessing upon this gift, that it may be used to bring joy, healing, and recognition to those who have served. Bless the work of Flag City Honor Flight, and strengthen all who lead and support its mission.
