We are deeply saddened to share that Margaret Hamilton, a cherished member of the AM community, has passed away. Margaret was the wife of Deacon Gene Hamilton '64 and mother to Tom '93. She is pre-deceased by her son, Father Eugene Hamilton, Jr. '90.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at St. Peter & St. Mary Church in Haverstraw, NY. Interment will immediately follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held at George M. Holt Funeral Home on New Main Street, Haverstraw, NY 10927 on Friday, September 4, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations in loving memory of Margaret B. Hamilton may be sent to St. Peter & St. Mary Church, 115 Broadway, Haverstraw, NY 10927.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.
