Happy 80th Indian Independence Day 🇮🇳🎉

While we are grateful for India's political freedom, India is far from free. Even now, many Christians, churches, and missionaries suffer from religious persecution; anti-conversion laws, which ban converting to the Christian faith or openly sharing the gospel; India is plagued by a prevailing spirit of idolatry and witchcraft; discrimination due to the caste system, social prejudice, and gender bias, poverty, and much more.

As a church, let us pray that our brothers and sisters in India will become truly free from the bo***ge of sin, idolatry, false religion, and experience the freedom that only Christ gives.

Let us pray 🙏🏽 that many nonbelievers will come to the knowledge of Christ's saving grace, according to Acts 4:12: "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved" and John 14:6: "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

In these last days, may the Holy Spirit empower churches and ministries all across India to reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ! 🕊

May India turn to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior 🙏🏽

May God bless, protect, heal and restore the USA—one Nation under God—according to His promise in Isaiah 58:12, "Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings."
