Forgiveness is not pretending that the pain did not exist. It is not denying the tears, the betrayal, or the wounds that left a mark on your heart. Forgiveness is the courageous decision to stop carrying what God never intended you to bear forever.

When we forgive, we are not approving what happened—we are surrendering the hurt to God and allowing Him to restore what was broken. The wound may have been real, but God’s healing is greater. The pain may have shaped your story, but it does not have to define your future.

Release the bitterness. Surrender the anger. Let God heal the places that only He can touch. A heart that forgives is a heart that is free.
