New Life Church was birthed on August 31, 2013, at the conclusion of a Couples Fellowship sponsored by Two Have and Two Hold Ministries. It was at that time that Pastor Michael Thomas made an announcement to those in attendance that the Lord was leading him to start a church in the Metropoltan Atlanta area. He requested that those in attendance would spend the entire month of September praying; as
king the Lord what role, if any, He may have them to fulfill in bringing this vision into reality. Pastor Thomas knew that there were those in attendance that had shared a similar vision and direction from the Lord. It was with this confidence in the Spirit that God was uniting dreamers together to forge ahead with the establishment of a New Testament church that would be predicated upon the unswerving commitment to bring glory and honor to His Name. On September 14, 2013, at Cedine Bible Camp in Spring City Tennessee, a meeting was held with seven couples from Two Have and Two Hold Ministries. During the meeting, Pastor Thomas shared with those couples in greater detail how God was leading him in starting a new church. Integrity in every aspect of church ministry unto God would be the driving principle that would give this new ministry its distinction and authority. The church would be an instrument used by God to communicate His Voice in a new and transformational way. On Sunday, January 5, 2014, New Life Church held its first official worship service at Mountain Park Activity Building in Stone Mountain, GA. Since that first service, God has continued to bless New Life Church, under the leadership of Pastor Thomas, with a growing, maturing congregation of dreamers.
