Through our faith we are assured Christ is with us no matter what. Through the Holy Spirit we are strengthened, guided, and taught. Through our faith we can lean on the promise of Christ's presence in our lives and ultimately eternal life with Christ in the heavenly kingdom. No matter what human categories we use to describe us. We are defined in Christ, one in Christ. Using Galatians 3:23-29, I share a message titled; "Getting Back To The Basics". Paul's letter to the Galatians reminds us it is by faith we are saved. Faith alone. May you nourish and strengthen your trust and faith in God through your relationship with Christ Jesus. Be Blessed

Love lifts us up where we belong. We belong in the heavenly kingdom basking in the glory and love of Almighty God. Paul in his letter to the Romans provides us a reason for us to have eternal hope by being reconciled and made right and just before God. So we may joyfully and merrily boast about God's love and peace God provides that allows us to live through any and all of life's circumstance; good or not so good. God is with us. Romans 5:1-5 is our scripture this week. This week I hope all who hear this message will know what it is about hope that is so GGGGGGRRRRREEEAATTT about God's love. What is so great about God's mercy. And what is so great about God's grace

We celebrate Pentecost Sunday that many believe is the birthday of the Church. The familiar scripture from the second chapter Acts 2:1-21 is used to remember once again of the powerful beginning of Christianity with the body of Christ (the church) providing the foundation for what has become one of the most powerful changing agents in the world. On the day of Pentecost displayed how, diversity from all backgrounds and languages can come together as one. We can come together and share the message that all who call on the name of the Lord will be saved. May the Spirit of God empower all of you to declare as Peter did, using the prophesy from Joel. That the Lord God would pour out the Holy Spirit on all people from all corners of the world and bring the peace that will join us all together. That day cannot come soon enough for me.

I share a message of hope this week. Using scripture from Acts 16:16-34 I share with you a message of how God surrounds us with protection from all the evil and darkness of this world. No matter how devastating the evil acted out around believers. God will deliver us and free us to continue to fulfill the call upon our lives. God shields us from evil the same today as God did will Paul and Silas when imprisoned for spreading the gospel good news of Jesus Christ. We must not allow the evil and injustice all around us take our hope away. We must trust in God and allow the saving power and authority of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior shield and protect us. And free us to be messengers of the very same good news Paula and Silas shared in our scripture. Stay prayerful and share words of hope and deliverance. Until next time. Be Blessed.

With all the hatred, divisiveness, discrimination, racism and violence in the world today ever live in peace and harmony. Jesus offered his disciples the gift of the Holy Spirit and sense of peace the night before he was to die on the cross. In John 14:22-31 the Apostle John tells us Jesus did so as he answered a question about why Jesus would reveal himself to them and not others. Jesus blesses them with the Holy Spirit and the peace of Christ that surpasses all understanding. Jesus blesses us with his peace so that we can become Peace Makers which is the title of my message this week. Join us today and hear how you will know when you have been blessed the love of God and peace of Christ living within you. May we all one day be able to declare that Jesus is alive because he lives within our hearts.

The Empowering Power of Love is the title of my sermon this week. Using John 13;31-35 we will explore the significance of the commandment to love one another as God loves us. We will attempt to capture the essence of LOVE as Jesus desires for us to embrace the live-giving sacrificial love that will one day transform the world into a better place.

We celebrate Mother's Day today and use Acts 9:32-42 to demonstrate the importance of discipleship. Our sermon title is Discipleship - Through Good Works and Charitable Acts. We will see how Peter fulfilled his call to be a fisher of humanity. A discipleship that led to many becoming believers. Peter truly fulfilled his call to become the rock upon which our church was built. There is another example of discipleship in our scripture. It is Tabitha who Peter "raised" from the dead. Tabitha took care of the widows, poor and needy throughout community. Peter and Tabitha both feed the sheep entrusted to them to shepherd. May we all embrace the call God places upon our live while using the gifts God has blessed us with. It is now, time to catch some fish.

We never know when Jesus will show up in our lives and invite us to fellowship with him and be provided a life lesson. This week we encounter a resurrection appearance of Jesus to seven of his disciples in John 21:1-19. Jesus directs the disciples to a catch of abundant fish and invites them to have breakfast with him. After breakfast Peter is introduced to his new leadership role in his call. Peter became a fisher of men. The life lessons from this week began with an invitation to fish. Followed by an invitation to have breakfast. When we experience the full measure of Jesus' impact upon our lives; we experience the abundance of God's grace. We experience the abundance of God's mercy. We experience the abundance of God's love. Experiences of abundance all the result of the resurrection.

The Ultimate Choice is the title of the sermon this week. Using John 20:19-31 that tells us the story of appearing to all the disciples except Thomas. Yet, Jesus came back eight days later when Thomas was with the other disciples. Jesus offered the disciples peace during both appearances. He breathed the Holy Spirit onto the disciples when Thomas was not present. When Jesus instructed Thomas to put his finger in the holes in his hands and his hand in his side. Thomas proclaimed, "My Lord and My God". Jesus had revealed himself to Thomas and Thomas believed. When Jesus reveals himself to us. We all have to make a choice. Do we believe and trust Jesus is who and what he tells us he is? Take the peace Jesus Christ offers you. Welcome the Holy Spirit Jesus leaves with you. Then go out into the world and tell your story. Help others be able to proclaim that Christ Jesus is Lord and God of us all.

We gather together once again on this Easter Sunday of 2022. We come together to celebrate and remember the cold, dark tomb from Good Friday was not able to confine Jesus. On that glorious first Easter Sunday Christ Jesus walked away from that tomb alive as God had ordained. A story that is utter nonsense for some. Foolishness for others. Is a true story only God could write. The scripture this week is from Luke 24:1-12. What was an idle tale and nonsense to many is the reality that our faith is based on. It is the very foundation of our faith. May the risen Jesus Christ live within your hearts.

We begin our Holy Week 2022 as is our custom with the Triumphant Entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem. Jesus is showered with accolades and blessings. Using Luke's version of this unique event, we will remember that for many would seem impossible was the very mission Jesus completed although he would experience matchless and unparalleled pain and suffering. Jesus gave all he had and all he was in order to fulfill his part of God's divine plan of salvation. A plan that creates hope beyond comprehension. Therefore, as believers let us all march triumphantly with Jesus to the cross. Scripture text Luke 19:28-40
