This quote says, “The cost of your new life is your old one. Stop negotiating.” That is the call of true repentance. Jesus never promised salvation without surrender. The old man of sin must be forsaken so that the new man in Christ can live.

The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV):

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Many people want the blessings of Christ but do not want to leave behind the sins of the flesh. They want heaven without holiness, forgiveness without repentance, and a crown without a cross. But Jesus said:

“If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” (Luke 9:23 KJV)

The man walking toward the light with the Bible represents a soul choosing Christ over the old life. The old life may cry out, “Stay where you are,” but the Spirit of God says, “Come out from among them, and be ye separate.” (2 Corinthians 6:17
KJV)
Stop negotiating with sin. Stop bargaining with the world. Stop delaying obedience. The old life must die so the new life can begin. Christ is worth more than every sinful pleasure this world can offer.

Today, if God is calling you, leave the darkness behind and walk toward the Light. Jesus Christ did not die to improve your old life—He died to give you a new one. Amen.
