The annual meeting for the Chalk Bluff Cemetery will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the genealogy room at the Keller Public Library, 402 West Grant, Dexter, MO. This meeting is about 1 hour long.

1. Cemetery policies are located on this page and are mailed yearly to the plot owner(s).
2. Any changes to your address, phone number, email, or next of kin should be emailed to [email protected] or mailed to Chalk Bluff Cemetery, P. O. Box 727, Dexter, MO 63841.
3. The cemetery is a not-for-profit organization and maintains upkeep through memorial donations.

In preparation for spring and the mowing season, Chalk Bluff Cemetery will remove all seasonal, faded, or deteriorating flowers and items not in memorial vases during the first week of March, weather permitting.

Save the date -- The annual cemetery meeting is scheduled for Sunday, May 3, at 2:00 PM at the Keller Library.

POSTPONED -- Due to unforeseen circumstances, the annual Chalk Bluff Cemetery meeting has been postponed, which was scheduled for Sunday, May 4, at the Keller Public Library. We will reschedule the meeting and post the notification on this page and through our annual membership mailing. Thank you.

Pending the weather, grave blankets and Christmas, seasonal, and deteriorating flower arrangements will be removed the first week of March at the Chalk Bluff Cemetery.

ADOPTED!!! Thank you to everyone who inquired and were willing to share the post.

Love to be shared! If you would like cuddles and companionship (and maybe rodent control around the house or barn), the Chalk Bluff Cemetery inherited two cats that were abandoned last week on the west side of the cemetery. They are very sweet and friendly. We believe one is a male and not sure of the other. Please message if you want to adopt or surprise someone with an early Christmas present!

CHANGE OF LOCATION--The annual cemetery meeting is this Sunday, May 7, 2023, at 2:00 PM. Due to the Keller Library renovations taking longer to complete than anticipated, we will briefly meet in the old junior high gym behind the library.

Also, in preparation for the mowing season, please remember that all flowers and monument decorations should be placed in the monument vase and not stuck in the ground. The Chalk Bluff Cemetery Board of Directors has made the decision to postpone this year’s annual membership meeting of the Chalk Bluff Cemetery, scheduled for Sunday, May 2 in order to ensure the safety of our membership. We are planning to see you at next year's annual meeting on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Dexter's Keller Public Library.

Out of concern for our members, the Chalk Bluff Cemetery Board of Directors has made the decision to cancel this year’s annual membership meeting of the Chalk Bluff Cemetery, scheduled for Sunday, May 2, due to the COVID-19 virus. (Next year, the annual meeting will be held on May 2, 2021.)
