Christmas cantata practice Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 7pm. Come be a part of the Gloria of the Manger. We need actors, singers, musical instruments of all sorts. It's the only cantata on the shore that will have Cecil the camel as a live actor. You dont have to attend Wesley, just come be a part of something wonderful. If u cant make Thursday, then let Tina know that you still want to be in it.

Welcome to Wesley Community Church in Stockton, MD! We are so glad you are joining us for worship online today.
About Today's Message:In our close-knit rural community, we pride ourselves on being the kind of neighbors who drop everything, hook up the heavy chains, and pull a flipped tractor out of a ditch. Yet, when spiritual friction, moral failures, or deep struggles surface behind a neighbor’s closed doors, our natural instinct is often to pull back, cross our arms, and keep our boots clean.
Today, Pastor Mike dives into Romans 5:6–11. We’ll see how Jesus didn't stand aloof on a safe, clean heavenly shoreline shouting moral instructions down at us. He stepped directly down into the suffocating muck and mud of our sin to pull us out. Because Christ got His hands dirty to rescue us while we were still helpless, we cannot stand aloof from the lost and drowning souls in our own backyards. It's time to drop the gavel, grab a towel, and step over the property line.

Meet our pastor and his wife. Pastor Mike and Tina lovingly and obediently accepted the position to shepherd Wesley Community Church in January 2024. He holds a Master of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and brings a strong evangelical background seen through his preaching and teaching. Tina lovingly leads our worship services and women ministry; she holds a Masters in Christian Theology and has completed ABD for her PHD in History. They both have an extreme love for Christ Jesus and feel pulled to share it with the community and the lost. Pastor Mike feels a strong pull to mission related ministries, which shows through the churches outreach programs He guides with gentleness, love, grace, but will hold you accountable to the truth found in scripture. Both Tina and Mike were born and raised right here on the Eastern Shore, both are veterans Mike Army and Tina Airforce, so they understand the trials that we face here every day.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
