“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
John 8:12 (KJV)

Grand Rising Family,
In a world filled with uncertainty, confusion, and shadows of doubt, Jesus makes a bold and comforting declaration: “I am the light of the world.” Light reveals, light guides, and light gives life. Where there is light, darkness cannot remain.

To follow Christ is to step out of darkness—out of fear, sin, and despair—and into clarity, purpose, and truth. His light does not just shine around us; it shines within us. It directs our path when we don’t know which way to go, and it exposes anything in us that needs to be surrendered to Him.

Sometimes we try to navigate life with our own understanding, only to find ourselves stumbling in the dark. But Jesus reminds us that if we follow Him closely, we won’t have to guess our way through life—we will have the light of life.

Ask yourself: Am I truly following His light, or am I trying to create my own? Today, make a conscious decision to let His Word guide your steps, His Spirit lead your heart, and His truth shape your life.

My Brother and Sisters don’t get comfortable in places where God has already called you into the light. Walk boldly in the light of Jesus Christ. Let His light shine through you so others can find their way out of darkness. When you carry His light, you don’t just change your path—you illuminate the path for others.
God Bless You All.

Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.”
Matthew 9:37–38 (KJV)

Grand Rising Facebook

Jesus looked out and saw more than a crowd—He saw a harvest. Souls ready, hearts open, lives in need of hope, healing, and salvation. The problem was never the harvest… it was the shortage of laborers.

That same truth still speaks today. There are people all around us—on our jobs, in our families, in our communities—who are searching, hurting, and waiting. The harvest is still plenteous.

But the question is: Who will go?

Jesus didn’t just point out the need—He gave us the assignment: Pray. Pray that God would send laborers. And sometimes, when we pray that prayer, we must be ready for God to send us.

You don’t have to have all the answers. You don’t need a title. You just need a willing heart. A kind word, a prayer, a testimony, an invitation—these are seeds that can change someone’s life forever.

Today, let’s not just admire the harvest—let’s commit to working in it.

And if you know God has been good to you, if you know He saved you, if you know He brought you out—then you ought to be willing to go back and help bring somebody else in!

The harvest is waiting…
The time is now…
And the Lord is still calling for laborers!

Go be a worker in the field… and watch God get the glory!
