Helping others know Jesus, love His Word, and live transformed!

The Holy Spirit is not an afterthought. He is not a feeling or an optional part of the Christian life. He is God.

🎙️ NEW EPISODE: THE HOLY GHOST with JACOB SMITH — PART 1

We talk a lot about God the Father and Jesus the Son, but what about the Holy Spirit?

This week on the Everyday Jesus Podcast, I'm joined by my cousin and pastor Jacob Smith for a conversation about who the Holy Spirit is, why He matters, and what it means to be led by Him.

We talk about the Holy Spirit as our Counselor and the Spirit of truth, the power He brings to our lives, and how we can discern what is truly from God.

One of the reminders that really stood out in this conversation was this: "Does it glorify God? Does it align with His Word?"

The Holy Spirit doesn't lead us away from the truth of Scripture. He points us to Jesus and transforms us to become more like Him.

And we're just getting started! This conversation was so rich that we've made it a two-part series. Next week, we'll continue talking about what it means to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Go listen to Part 1 of *The Holy Ghost * on the Everyday Jesus Podcast! 🎧

Know Jesus. Love His Word. Live transformed.

👀 Our culture is fascinated with the supernatural. But have we stopped to ask where we're seeking our power, wisdom, and guidance? Check out this week's episode of the Everyday Jesus Podcast! Link in bio!

🎙️ NEW EPISODE: Daniel, the Demonic & the Lion’s Den 🦁

It's October, and everywhere we look, our culture seems fascinated with the supernatural. But here's a question worth asking: Where are we turning for wisdom, guidance, protection, and power?

In this week's episode of the Everyday Jesus Podcast, we're opening Scripture to explore what the Bible says about divination, witchcraft, sorcery, mediums, astrology, and the reality of spiritual counterfeits.

We'll look at Daniel's unwavering faithfulness in Babylon, the believers in Ephesus who walked away from their former practices, and Jesus' authority over every other power.

Here's what I want you to remember: Just because something appears spiritual doesn't mean it's holy. And we don't need to search for what we lack outside of Jesus when He is our source of truth, freedom, and life.

The goal isn't to become experts in darkness. The goal is to know the Light.

Following Jesus isn’t a Sunday thing.
It’s a lifestyle.

It shapes our marriages, our families, our homes, our parenting, our work, and everything in between.

Dustin and I talk about what we’ve learned through 22 years of marriage, raising our kids, and walking with Jesus through every season.
My prayer is that this conversation points you back to Him. ❤️

📖 Context changes everything.

We don’t get to make Scripture say what we want it to say. Our job is to understand what God has actually said—then let His Word transform us.

This week on the Everyday Jesus Podcast, we’re talking about how to read Scripture in context, why Scripture helps us understand Scripture, and the difference between interpreting the Word and applying it faithfully.

The goal isn’t simply to know more Bible. It’s to know Jesus, love His Word, and live transformed. ❤️

You don't need to become a Bible scholar overnight. You just need to begin. 🤍
Open His Word. Be consistent. Ask God to give you a hunger for Scripture—and keep showing up.
Because His Word doesn't just inform us. It transforms us.

We say we want to know Jesus—but how can we deeply know Him while neglecting His Word?

Jesus is the Truth. Jesus is the Word made flesh. And God's Word is truth.
Scripture isn't simply a collection of stories, rules, or inspirational verses. It continually points us to Jesus—and it has the power to transform the way we live.

This week on the Everyday Jesus Podcast, we're kicking off More Than Words, a two-part series all about God's Word.

In Part 1, we're talking about why Scripture matters, the impact consistent Bible reading can have on our lives, where to begin if you feel overwhelmed, and simple ways to start studying Scripture for yourself.

My prayer isn't simply that you'll read your Bible more. It's that you'll know Jesus, love His Word, and live transformed. 🤍
