Hello from the Restore Family! We know this shelter in place restriction has been challenging, but it has also been a gift! There are so many ways to embrace life’s beauty in the quiet and stillness that has been given to us. We have enjoyed connecting with family and housemates through playing games, baking, gardening, cooking, decorating, and generally doing things that give life! We would love to hear how you are engaging with your loved ones in this season.

Restore Stockton and Gravity Church are giving away grocery bags from 2-3pm Wednesday afternoon. On Center St between Rose and Vine you will see the parking lot of First Presbyterian Church - come on by. Please maintain social distancing, wait your turn, and practice respect for all. It’s our heart to continue to meet needs and show love to the neighborhood but in ways that honor the current safety recommendations.

Monday Memories! We recently got 5,000 pounds of coffee beans delivered to The Well, where our coffee roaster is up and running! The beans came straight from a farm in Guatemala, where we have relationship with a woman who owns a coffee plantation and is intentional to pay her laborers above minimal wage. Stay tuned for some fresh roasted coffee coming out of the Midtown District! @ The Well

Restore is a public non-profit dedicated to the restoration of individuals, families, businesses and communities in all areas of life; socially, physically, economically, and spiritually. This is accomplished through targeted resourcing, neighborhood education, community mentoring, and training.

Sometimes it’s the little things that make a big difference, and there’s nothing like changing the color of the walls to change the entire atmosphere of a room! After years of dreaming about a makeover for our Robes of Righteousness clothing closet at First Presbyterian Church we took the plunge last weekend and started with a fresh coat of paint. Our hope is to continue to transform this space into a room that communicates dignity, worth, and inherent value to every person who walks through the doors. Healing and transformation truly can take place through the simple act of clothing those in need. Thank you to all who have donated through the years, and stay tuned for more makeover updates!
