The moves are out. As officers, we are honored to serve wherever God and The Salvation Army lead us. With mixed emotions, we share that we have received marching orders to serve as corps officers at Yuba Sutter in Yuba County.

Serving Stockton for 7years has been a blessing. You’ve welcomed us, worked alongside us, loved us, prayed with us, laughed and cried with us—and through it all, you’ve made our time here truly life-changing. Stockton will always hold a special place in our hearts.

To our staff, volunteers, youth, clients, ministry partners, local agencies, city officials, family, and every friend we’ve met along the way: thank you. Thank you for the love, trust, and grace you’ve shown us. We are better for having known you. We are who we are because of you.

Our final day will be June 28th. As that day approaches, we reflect on all the moments, memories, and relationships that have touched our lives so deeply.

We also ask that you pray for the new officers, as they prepare to take on their roles, that they may be blessed with wisdom, courage, and joy. We are confident they will be welcomed, encouraged, and supported in their new positions. We look forward to seeing how God will continue to use them to serve San Joaquin County.

On MLK Service Day, the Stockton Service Corps brought together 200 young adults, including 50 staff members, to engage in various community service activities. They spent the day painting, trimming trees and bushes, building raised garden beds, and planting vegetables. Additionally, they prepared food boxes, wrote letters for the food distribution project, and cleaned and power-washed tables and chairs, among other tasks. The Stockton Service Corps collaborates with multiple organizations throughout the city, partnering with local nonprofits, schools, and community groups to address community needs through service. Their fellows are placed with different partners, allowing for a wide range of projects that embody the motto of putting "LOVE IN Action."

Day 2 of distribution: 120 seniors served. It fills my heart with joy to see their faces as they receive gifts today. Thank you, Jesus, for letting me do this. Big thanks to my helpers my husband, daughter, and jose.

Day one of distribution started off bumpy, but our God! We are deeply grateful to Major Lynn Stewart and the DHQ team, as well as to our volunteers, for all the help they provided today. We served over 400 families with gifts, food boxes, and chicken. Today was truly amazing! We couldn't have done this without the help of our donors and the community. Thank you for making Christmas a little brighter for our neighbors in San Joaquin County. Together, we do the most good! I would like to thank my husband, our daughter Allison , Enedina Angelini, and our staff. Who worked tirelessly every day. Thank you, team!!!

This evening's Chips4kids event was a huge success! Thanks to Brent, Officer Arceo,CHP - Stockton, and volunteers. We are deeply grateful for your generosity. 150 families have joy and hope this Christmas. Thank you to our volunteers and Pastor Scoggins of Life City Church - Stockton, CA, who came out to support the Salvation Army tonight. We appreciate you all! Thank you!

It is a pleasure serving our community.

Thank you ! Students at John Muir will receive a little extra joy this holiday season thanks to the Salvation Army. Parents came to school this morning and were able to choose presents for their children. We are all so grateful!
