Valley View CofC kicked off our first youth devo this year with an outdoor devo and game night, and it was truly a special evening. With an Olympic inspired theme, “Going for Gold,” the devo encouraged our young people to pursue a faith that honors God with excellence and commitment.
​The night was filled with both spiritual food and fun. The youth participated in breakout sessions that covered a variety of faith based topics, creating space for meaningful conversations and growth. The energy shifted to laughter and connection around the firepit with smores, games in the dark, and activities like human curling, toy axe throwing, and charades.
​
One of the highlights of the night was the team building games, which brought together our youth, their guests, and adults in a way that strengthened bonds and built community.

We are grateful for moments like these and look forward to many more opportunities for fellowship, growth, and Bible study throughout the year.

Join us this Sunday, June 22nd, as we celebrate our class of 2025 graduates! We will be honoring college and high school graduates, as well as students promoting from middle school to high school.

At Valley View, we value academic excellence and encourage our young people to pursue a life of balance, growth, and faith.

Worship begins at 11:00 AM. We invite you to celebrate with us as we lift up the name of Jesus and reflect on the power of the gospel. All are welcome!

📣 Registration is now open for the 6th Annual Los Angeles Black High School Graduation Celebration — an inspiring event honoring the achievements and future goals of Black high school graduates across L.A.

This year’s celebration will include:

✨ Grad shout-outs & recognition
🎉 A community celebration with students, families & educators
🎤 Uplifting guest speakers
💸 Presentation of ten $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors headed to college, trade, or vocational programs

✅ Event registration is open to students, families, and community members!
📝 Scholarship applications are open now through May 31st – for high school seniors pursuing any postsecondary path.

🤝 Sponsorship and volunteer opportunities are also available.
