Today we have spent the morning at our third Christian school. We have played games to help the students practice English, plus to engage them with the gospel. One young man kicked off the day sharing his testimony of coming to Christ during a previous mission trip here.

Last night Pastor Kevin preached at a local church and 5 people responded for salvation.

One week from tonight (on June 11) is our Family Glow Game Night in our fellowship hall. Parents and children, you are invited to come out for a night of games and family fun!! We will have frito pies & hot dogs.

Note: This is not a drop off and go event. Children will need to have a parent or guardian with them throughout the evening.

We will not have a Midweek Minute video today as Pastor Kevin is in El Salvador. However, students are still invited to Half Time tonight from 6-8 p.m. in the youth and children's building.

Half Time is for students who have completed grades 6th-12th.

Here are some scenes from our first full day in El Salvador.

After breakfast, the day began with a presentation from the students at the Christian school connected to the church we are partnering with.

Then we worked with students in ESL, built bunk beds and picnic tables, shopped for and packed groceries for 148 families in need, and sorted medicinal supplies.

Tomorrow we will travel to another church in the area and do some very similar things.

Yesterday we prayed over and commissioned a team of 9 to travel to El Salvador this week for a misison trip. Continue to be in prayer for this team as they get ready to leave this afternoon.

It was a great morning in children's church!! The children made little gift bags and wrote notes in both English and Spanish for our mission team to take with us to El Salvador. We love raising our children up to serve others around the world for the sake of the gospel!!
